
Four of Ballet Philippines’ artists have been accepted to the 1st Boston Ballet International Ballet Competition, slated on May 12 to 16, 2011. The artists were pre-selected via a video elimination round.
Beginning, April 2011 the Manila Symphony Orchestra comes to Arts in the City for their concert series entitled: Chamber Classics Series. Under the direction and guidance of Prof. David Johnson, the MSO regales us with chamber music twice a month until June 2011.

“After the Loving”, the post-Valentine concert featuring Jacqui Magno, Pat Castillo, Ding Mercado and Eugene Villaluz premiered to a sold-out crowd of 200 people at Arts in the City’s FVR Hall last February 23, 2011.
Burlesque by Lady S is the first burlesque workshop being offered in the Philippines. It follows the current resurgence of Burlesque aptly called Neo-Burlesque. Burlesque by Lady S is a hybrid of exotic dancing, chair dance, striptease, performance art, character and narrative development etc.
