Ballet Philippines, Tanghalang Pilipino and the Philippine Madrigal Singers – three of the most respected and highly acclaimed performing arts companies in the country — opened the doors to “Arts in Taguig City” (ATC) for their first Summer Arts Programs on April 13, 2009, launching their partnership with Fort Bonifacio Development Corp., Bonifacio City Global Estate Association Inc., and the City Government of Taguig.

The first “school” of its kind, Arts in Taguig City offers dance, music and theater classes for all ages.

Ballet Philippines covers almost all genres — Baby Ballet, Children’s Ballet, Adult Ballet, Children’s and Adult’s Modern Ballet, Jazz, Salsa and Hiphop. Flamenco, Swing (partner dancing) and Latin ala Penthouse 7, Yoga and other classes can also be arranged upon request.

The UP Madrigal Singers offer voice and piano classes for all ages. Professors from the St. Scholastica’s School of Music and the Manila Symphony Orchestra offer classical guitar and violin classes for all ages, and professional guitarist Rudy Lozano teaches acoustic and electric guitar.

Tanghalang Pilipino has created special courses for ATC — Children’s Musical Theater, and Voice and Diction for ages 7 and above. For would-be actors who would rather train in privacy, Individual and Group Acting courses are also available.

Set in a beautiful location close to High Street, Arts in Taguig City sets an arts-friendly environment for everyone to learn their preferred art form. As such, it has been dubbed the “Soul of Bonifacio Global City.”

A year-round season of activities and performances by all participating groups (and other invited performance and visual artists) will be regular events in ATC and other venues around Bonifacio Global City.
